In a few days, these containers will be shipped on the China-Europe Express (Changman-Europe), arriving in the hinterland of Europe in only 25 days, accelerating the introduction of more "Made in China" products to the world.

Since the beginning of this year, the types of goods carried by China-Europe freight trains (Changman-Europe, Changhui-Europe, Changchun-Hamburg) have continued to expand. On the basis of traditional auto parts and mechanical and electrical products, new energy vehicles have become a new category. Up to now, the Changchun China-Europe Railway Express (Changman-Europe, Changhui-Europe, Changchun-Hamburg) has shipped more than 7,000 passenger cars, providing a stable channel guarantee for automobile export companies in the province.
Wang Xiaomei, customs affairs manager of Changchun International Land Port Development Co., Ltd., told reporters that before, the export operation of new energy vehicles was complicated, sea transportation was difficult, and road transportation costs were high. The customs immediately relaxed restrictions on new energy vehicle transportation on the China-Europe trains ( October 2022) will publicize and interpret our policies. Nowadays, new energy vehicles ride on China-Europe freight trains, which greatly saves transportation costs.
Chen Fuheng, deputy director of Changchun Xinglong Customs, said that Changchun Xinglong Customs has been committed to improving the trade security and customs clearance facilitation level of Jilin Province’s China-Europe freight trains, solidly serving Jilin Province’s integration into the joint construction of the “Belt and Road”, opening up the channel to the north smoothly, and fully implementing the manifest. The merger reduces the number of customs declarations for enterprises, improves customs clearance efficiency, supports enterprises to independently choose customs declaration places, and facilitates enterprises to optimize logistics plans. At the same time, a customs supervision team is stationed at the supervision site to fully ensure that China-Europe freight train goods arrive, are inspected, and are released at any time, and that they wait 24 hours a day for customs clearance and shipment.
From January to August this year, Changchun Xinglong Customs supervised a total of 8,890 TEUs of China-Europe freight trains (Changman-Ou, Changhun-Ou, Changchun-Hamburg) with a value of 1.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.2% and 19% respectively.
