"China's new energy vehicle production has reached 20 million units, marking that China's new energy vehicles have entered a new stage of large-scale, global and high-quality development on the basis of industrialization and marketization, and are becoming supported by the real economy. It is an important part of the modern industrial system." said Fu Bingfeng, executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
The production volume of new energy vehicles has reached 20 million units, demonstrating China's world-leading market size. In 2022, my country's new energy vehicles will sell 6.887 million units, with the market share increasing to 25.6%, 12.1 percentage points higher than the previous year, and global sales accounting for more than 60%.

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2022, the domestic market sales of self-owned brand new energy passenger vehicles will account for 79.9%, a year-on-year increase of 5.4 percentage points; new energy vehicles will be exported to 679,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 1.2 times. my country occupies 3 of the top ten corporate groups in global new energy vehicle sales, and 6 of the top 10 companies in terms of power battery installed capacity.

On the assembly line of the first intelligent manufacturing center of GAC Aian in Guangzhou, densely packed robotic arms rise and fall, and driverless AGV cars come and go. The relevant person in charge of GAC Aian said that the welding, stamping, painting, assembly and other aspects of the workshop have basically realized automated production.
New energy vehicles are the main direction for the transformation, upgrading and green development of the global automobile industry, and are also the strategic choice for the high-quality development of my country's automobile industry. Thanks to a series of policy supports, my country's intelligent connected vehicles have developed innovatively in many fields such as vehicle manufacturing, information communications, and road transportation, and the industrial ecology has become increasingly rich.
As the core part of new energy vehicles, my country's power battery materials and new technology applications have continued to make breakthroughs, forming a power battery industry system with the most complete and largest global industrial chain from material research and development, battery production, recycling to equipment support. On the technical side, in recent years, my country's new energy has achieved varying degrees of breakthroughs in various technologies in many fields, promoting a significant improvement in the level of vehicle intelligence.
