The reporter learned from the regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce today that my country's auto exports are stable and improving, and the product structure continues to be optimized.
In the first four months of this year, my country exported 1.494 million automobiles, a year-on-year increase of 76.5%. From January to April, my country's auto exports to 204 countries and regions around the world, including exports to countries along the "Belt and Road" of 13.64 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.2 times, accounting for 45.9%; exports to developed economies of 12.41 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.2 times , accounting for 41.8%.
New energy vehicles contributed an important increase. From January to April, new energy vehicles accounted for 42.9% of the total automobile export value, contributing 51.6% to the growth of automobile exports.
