On the morning of September 23, the spacious streets of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, were busy with traffic. In the traffic flow, the "Made in China" new energy vehicles are the most eye-catching. They have stylish appearance and excellent performance, making them a beautiful "mobile" landscape.
More than two thousand kilometers away, Irkeshtan Port in Xinjiang. A fleet of sedans loaded with dozens of new energy vehicles successfully passed customs and meandered through the mountains to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian countries.
"Ding!" Almost at the same time, Ivan, general manager of the Tashkent Sales Branch of Yili Galaxy Trading Co., Ltd., received a WeChat message - "The car has cleared customs."
The person who sent this WeChat message is Diao Zhenglin, general manager of Yili Galaxy Trading Co., Ltd. in Xinjiang. He and Ivan "one inside and one outside" helped domestic new energy vehicles accelerate their way to Uzbekistan.
Yili Galaxy Trading Co., Ltd. started by exporting domestic construction machinery. In 2019, after an inspection, Diao Zhenglin began to layout the new energy vehicle market in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
At the beginning of 2021, the Tashkent Sales Branch of Yili Galaxy Trading Co., Ltd. set up a Chinese new energy vehicle showroom locally. In the spacious and bright hall, new energy vehicles from various brands of Chinese car companies are neatly arranged, with trendy, cool and impressive shapes.
"Farewell to the cheap and uneven quality labels of the past, domestic construction machinery is now entering overseas markets with high quality." Diao Zhenglin said that word-of-mouth has inertia. Under the general trend of global green and low-carbon transformation, China's new energy vehicles With its rich product categories and excellent product quality, it has been widely recognized by the international market, its influence continues to increase, and the pace of "going global" continues to accelerate.
At the end of March this year, Diao Zhenglin visited Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan with the China Xinjiang Friendship Exchange Delegation, bringing back a large number of orders to the company and further expanding the Central Asian market. Currently, these new energy vehicles are being continuously transported to Central Asia from ports such as Horgos, Alashankou, Turgat, and Irkeshtan every day.
Answering the phone, sending emails, receiving customers... There are more and more orders, and Ivan is busy every day. "Since this year, our company alone has sold 250 new energy vehicles in China, and the total sales for the whole year are expected to reach 350 vehicles." He said that local people commented on China's new energy vehicles - "They represent the future."
When doing business, good products and services are always the foundation. Diao Zhenglin, who has worked hard in the business world for many years, knows this well.
"In October, we will send a group of new energy vehicle engineers to the Tashkent sales store. While improving the store's after-sales service level, we will 'teach and help' local automotive engineers." Diao Zhenglin said that with complete supporting services, we will further inspire local people. Consumers’ enthusiasm for buying cars.
In today's Tashkent urban area, Chinese new energy vehicles are not only limited to civilian use, but more and more Chinese brand electric buses are purchased at the government level. In this regard, Ivan believes that the arrival of China's new energy vehicles is crucial to promoting the local popularity of new energy vehicles and the development of related industries.
"Currently, domestic charging pile construction projects for new energy vehicles are rising rapidly in Uzbekistan." Ivan said that as far as he knows, many Chinese charging pile manufacturers are carrying out project docking, equipment transportation and assisting in installation and operation in Uzbekistan. Waiting for work.
Uzbekistan's new energy vehicle market has fully blossomed, and many Chinese new energy vehicle companies have opened 4S stores directly in Tashkent.
Competition in Uzbekistan's new energy vehicle market is becoming increasingly fierce, but Ivan believes this is a good thing. "As a sales store manager, competition can spur me to make continuous progress. From a local perspective, the increase in sales stores and 4S stores will help reduce the price of new energy vehicles." He said, hoping for more Uzbekistanis can drive high-quality new energy vehicles from China.
Ivan believes that in the next five to 10 years, Chinese car companies will not only export more new energy vehicles to the Uzbek market, but will also accelerate the implementation of plans to produce new energy vehicles in Central Asia. (Li Hua Liu Xiang Hei Hongwei)
